We are a Rights, Respecting Bronze Award School! 

In July 2020, we were recognised again for the work we do at Bishop Aldhelm's to ensure that all children know their rights and responsibilities with regard to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and achieved our Unicef Bronze Award. 

Being a 'Rights, Respecting School' allows all our children to feel safe and secure in school, recognsing that we are responsible for ensuring that others feel safe and secure. This links fully to our school vision of being 'Loved by God; United in Learning'. Knowing how to respect others and living this out daily in our lives is part of putting our school values of love, courage, unity and inspiration into practice. It helps us with our decision making and knowing how best to work together to achieve the best outcomes for all.
