Timings & Costs

Opening Times:

All children are entitled to 15 funded hours from the start of the term after their third birthday. However, children can enrol from their 3rd birthday.  Each of our sessions last for 3 hours and the 15 hours can be used across both morning and afternoon sessions, subject to availability.

Your child is welcome to attend the pre-school for more than 15 hours per week and extra sessions are charged at £10.00 per session.

Payment is made on a monthly basis, paid in advance of 1st of the month invoiced.

The pre-school is open 39 weeks a year (excluding INSET days), Monday to Friday, 7.45am to 6pm and we offer morning, afternoon and all day sessions.


Session times are as follows…

8.30am - 11.30am (15 Hours Universal Funded Hours)

12.30pm - 3.30pm (15 Hours Universal Funded Hours)

9am - 3pm (30 Hours Extended & Universal Funded Hours)

Additional hours can be purchased at the following rates (payable in advance)…

8.30am - 9am (£2.25)

3pm - 3.30pm (£2.25)

11.30am - 12.30pm (£4.50)

Additional 15 Hours (1 week of mornings) - Morning 8.30am - 11.30am (£50)

Additional 15 Hours - Afternoon 12.30pm (1 week of afternoons) - 3.30pm (£50)


Outside of these hours, parents will be able to access the schools wrap around care (Lookout Club).

7.45am - 9.00am - Breakfast Club (£3.50)

3.30pm - 4.30pm - After School (£4.50)

3.30pm - 5.15pm - After School (£7.00)

3.30pm - 6pm - After School (£9.50)


Holiday cover – Kidscape

Kidscape holiday clubs run every school holiday for children aged 3 to 12. The activity day runs from 7.30 am to 6.00pm, with the option to book shorter day.

The focus for Kidscape holiday club is about having as much FUN as possible. There is a varied programme of activities on offer such as Kick-Boxing, Cooking, Clay Moulding, Painting, Water Play, Messy Play, Trips and excursions, and the huge variety of activities on offer should suit both the sporty and more creative child.

Their programme of activity changes daily, even throughout the long summer holiday, and with a team of highly qualified and suitably trained staff at each venue, they are fully confident your child will always have a time to remember at Kidscape holiday club.
